George Keighley dies.

HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED!
Longridge Town Football Club are saddened to report the passing after a short illness of their long serving former club secretary George Keighley.
George who was 80, retired from active Longridge Town duty some four years ago after 15 seasons at the club and chairman Brian Parkinson paid this tribute to his long time friend.
"We lost George too quickly as he had only been with us a week or so earlier.
"We go back a long way and l have to say how much he was dedicated to this club.
"It's a sad day for us as a Football Club and of course we send our deepest sympathies to his family at this very sad time."
