February/March teams of the month revealed

Three clubs have been honoured for a barnstorming February and March.

Thornton Cleveleys took the Premier Division award after propelling themselves firmly into a two-horse title race.

Terry Green's men won seven and drew one of their eight games - including a 2-1 over second-placed CMB.

In Division One, Haslingden St Mary's only played three games but won them all - including two Richardson Cup wins against higher-division Burscough Richmond and Blackpool Wren Rovers.

Manager Sean Pearson also took the manager's award.

Pause United were top dogs in Division Two with two league wins, a draw and a Presidents Cup win at Hesketh Bank.

Thornton Cleveleys Res made it a double win for the club with the reserve leagues award - they won all five matches that beat the weather to go top of Reserve Division One.
