Wilf Carr Memorial Trophy

In a closely fought competitive game Blackpool Wren Rovers narrowly beat their close rivals Charnock Richard by 3 goals to 2.
Rick Seear opened the scoring for Wrens just before half time. Charnock equalized through Andy Roberts after 62 minutes and then took the lead in the 69th minute with a goal by David Burrows.Rick Seear scored his second three minutes later to bring Wrens back on level terms. Wrens winning goal was scored by substitute Lee Tobin with a tap in on 82 minutes.

West Lancashire League General Secretary John Brown presented the Trophy to the Wrens Captain.
