Presentation Night - 'We hope every club is represented'

By Andy Sykes

The date has been set for the annual West Lancashire League Presentation Night - let's fill the room!

The bash will be held at Bloomfield Road, home of Blackpool Football Club on Saturday June 8, starting at 7pm.

Those who have won team and individual awards will be honoured at the event, which features a three-course dinner and entertainment from singer Jenny Ball.

It will also see the revealing of the West Lancashire League 'Teams of the Year' which was introduced last season.

It is hoped every club will be represented this year to follow on from the success of the 2022/23 event.

Hon Gen Secretary John Brown said: “The annual Presentation Night is always a great event where we celebrate all those clubs and individuals who have had successful seasons or who have made telling contributions along the way.

“While we always honour those clubs who have achieved silverware either in league, competition cups or county cups, it would be fantastic if as many member clubs attend as possible so we can all celebrate these achievements together.

“We will be revealing the divisional Teams of the Year as voted by you, too, on the night so there are other awards up for grabs too.

“We hope every club is represented on the night and we look forward to seeing you on June 8th.”
