Garstang v Hesketh Bank

Unfortunately the Garstang v Hesketh Bank game was abandoned after seven minutes due to Garstang goalkeeper Mark Thornley suffering a serious head injury. Followig treatment by the paramedics the Air Ambulance was called to take Mark to hospital.
The latest news is that Mark has had a clear CT scan but is being kept in for observations. The Hesketh Bank player involved in the accidental collision was also taken to hospital and we wish them both the very best in their recoveries.
