Paul Southward appointed Assistant Manager of Garstang Reserves.

Garstang FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Southward as Assistant Player Manager of the Reserves. Paul has played for the club for a number of years and had a short spell as Assistant Manager last season when Paul Bailey and Alec Curwen took charge of the first team in the interim following the departure of Iain Swann.
New Manager, Lee Baker, said "I am delighted Paul has agreed to take up the role, he knows all the lads and as a senior player has played a large role in integrating the younger players both on and off the pitch." He went on "Although currently injured Paul will remain part of the playing squad and I am looking forward to working with him."
Paul commented "It was a shock losing Bails (Paul Bailey) and Alec (Curwen) at the same time but getting Lee was a great replacement for Garstang FC and when he asked me to assist him I was more than pleased to offer whatever I can to help both Lee and the club." He added "Lee has already started to put his own stamp on the job and I can't wait to get started."
