Club withdraws reserve side from league

By Andy Sykes

Galgate have decided to remove their reserve side from the West Lancashire Football League.

The Division 2 Reserve side said a lack of suitable players was one of the reasons for making the 'difficult' decision.

They had lost their two games this season, an 8-1 home defeat to Hesketh Bank Reserves and a 9-0 home defeat to Lytham Town.

Their record will be expunged and Division 2 Reserves will continue with 11 teams.
