Premier Division: Coppull United conquer Whitehaven

In the only Premier Division tie to survive the freeze, Coppull United won 3-0 at Whitehaven thanks to goals from Dave Parker, Nat Lindley and Will Hooper.

Division One: Southport Hesketh secure crucial three points

In Division One, Southport Hesketh were also victorious by a 3-0 scoreline as they picked a home win over Crooklands Casuals to leapfrog their opponents in the table.

Josh Leddy, Joe Tierney and Muhammed Samateh all got on the scoresheet for Southport Hesketh, with Tierney’s strike coming from the penalty spot.

Elsewhere, Askam United beat Millom 1-0, with Harry Bolton scoring the only goal of the game.

Division Two: Five-star fightback for Holker Old Boys Reserves

Division Two leaders Holker Old Boys Reserves extended their lead at the top in style, recovering from a goal down to beat Astley and Buckshaw 5-1.

Kurt Robinson opened the scoring for Astley and Buckshaw, but Gareth Smith and Tyler Spence would turn the game around before the break.

Dylan Ellis added a third for Holker Old Boys Reserves, before a Freddie Lawton brace rounded off the win.

Division One Reserve: Fulwood Amateurs Reserves fight to stoppage time win

A 91st minute goal from Josh Taylor eventually saw Fulwood Amateurs Reserves seal a 3-2 win at Thornton Cleveleys Reserves, in a game which saw the visitors pegged back twice.

Hugo Strand would twice strike to hand Fulwood Amateurs Reserves the lead, only to see his goals cancelled out by Nick Horsley and Luca Barrow respectively.

But as the game edged into injury time, Taylor would strike to give his side the lead for a decisive third time.

Stewart Rowe Memorial Cup: Flying Fulwood Amateurs A into round two

Matthew Billington started and finished the scoring as Fulwood Amateurs A secured a place in the second round of the Stewart Rowe Memorial Cup in style, beating Croston Sports Reserves 4-1.

Billington’s brace came either side of goals from Will Simm and Chris Pye, whilst Daniel Cooper got Croston Sports Reserves’ only goal.
