Premier Division: Slinger’s stinger denies Turton

Robert Slinger’s late equaliser denied Turton a vital win in their battle to escape the threat of relegation.

Slinger’s second of the game completed a second half comeback for Slyne with Hest after Sam Crooke and Kieron Sisson had put the home side ahead.

Ryan Dodd and Ben Trafford scored for Fulwood Amateurs in a 2-0 win as they piled on the misery for a Poulton side who sit second from bottom in the Premier Division.

Dylan Winstanley got the only goal in the match between CMB and Euxton Villa, with Euxton’s title challenge now seeming a distant memory thanks to the 1-0 reverse.

Thornton Cleveleys still lead by nine points but their 0-0 draw with Hurst Green at the weekend will have done nothing to quell their title nerves, with Fulwood having four games in hand.

Thornton and Fulwood face off next Saturday in what could be a pivotal afternoon in the title race.

Southport Hesketh meanwhile, face an uphill battle to survive, sitting seven pints clear of their nearest competitors.

Hesketh lost their game this weekend by only one goal. It was an own goal to the benefit of Vickerstown - who won 1-0.

Division 1: Case-ful of goals for Lostock

Dom Case scored a hat-trick for Lostock St Gerards in their 6-2 win over Crooklands Casuals.

Mark Carlton put the eventual winners ahead in the 10th minute, with Sam Graham equalising.

Dom Case ensured that Lostock went in ahead at the break with his first of the game.

Case scored twice more in the second period, with Olly Vaulks and Sam Allerton also netting for the home side.

Ryan Rodgers did bag a consolation for Crooklands.

Stoneclough came back from 1-0 down against Croston Sports to win 3-1.

Harry Hardacre had put the visitors ahead before the halfway point of the first period, but by the time the break rolled around, Stoneclough were in the lead, Heath Ainscow and Mark Truffas netting.

Truffas got his second of the game with five minutes left to play to put the result beyond doubt.

Daniel Birkby and James Hanson scored in Hesketh Bank's 2-0 victory over Horwich St Marys Victoria.

Hawcoat Park were the other winning team in Division 1, they clipped Eagley's wings by defeating the visitors 1-0. Jordan Chubb was the only scorer in that game.

Division 2: Holmes at home on the road

Cameron Holmes' brace helped Carnforth Rangers to a huge 5-1 victory on the road at Garstang.

Tom Graham had put Garstang ahead but goals from Damian Murphy, Joe Wilkinson, Jonathan Ash and Holmes' double ensured that the game ended very differently.

Saul Hamer's two first half goals were enough to see Freckleton over the line. They beat Furness Rovers 2-1, with Reece Carlisle scoring in the second period for the home side.

Galgate left it late to equalise in their match against Burnley United. James Boggs had put Burley ahead before five minutes had passed.

Aaron Helliwell levelled from the spot 70 minutes later but the action was only just beginning.

In the 82nd-minute, Josh Proudfoot scored what seemed to be the winner, only for James Short to score a big, big goal in added time to get a point.

Division 1 Reserve: Walford wallops Turton Reserves

Harvey Walford scored a hat-trick for Blackpool Wren Rovers Reserves in their 4-1 win over Turton Reserves.

Lewis Greenhalgh scored for Turton with Henry Wright getting Wren's other goal.

Fulwood Amateurs Reserves also won 4-1. Kane Froggatt scored twice for the winners, Aaron Alton also netting for Fulwood.

Lostock St Gerards Reserves were the losers in this match-up and Josh Taylor's goal wasn't enough to level the match.

Hurst Green Reserves won 3-1 against Thornton Cleveleys Reserves.

John Stead, Aaron Davis and Stuart Farquar scoring for the winning side with Harry Fryer scoring for the defeated team.

Division 2 Reserve: Lytham lethal late on

Lytham Town came from behind in their match with Storeys Reserves to take three points.

Joe Toulmin had put Storeys ahead early, but Tom Eastham and Jack Donavan turned the game on it's head in the second period.

Danny Palin looked to have got a key equaliser in the 75th-minute only for Tom Eastham to confirm the win for Lytham only nine minutes later.

Wyre Villa Reserves won 3-0 away to Rossendale Reserves thanks to goals from Rob Norton, Sam Bowling and Sam Milburn.

Ryan Walton scored the only goal in Galgate Reserves' 1-0 victory over Haslingden St Marys Reserves.

Richardson Cup - Semi Final

Coppull United and Tempest United will compete for Richardson Cup silverware this season after they both saw off higher-placed sides in the semi-finals.

Coppull triumphed over Blackpool Wren Rovers 1-0 courtesy of Nathan Lindley's goal.

And Tom Booth and Aaron Thorpe scored for Tempest United to see them progress to the final, beating Burscough Richmond 2-0.

Presidents Cup - Semi Final

Steven Yawson's late goal wasn't enough to save Milnthorpe Corinthians from defeat against Wyre Villa, Oliver Evans scored twice for Wyre after Phil Doughty opened the scoring.

Haslingden St Marys made it past Millom, 2-1. Theo Dreghorn's goal was rendered irrelevant by the finishes of Leon Barker-Williams and Alfie Edmundson.

Challenge Cup - Semi Final

Kendal scored two late goals to beat Dalton. Danny Craig and Ryan Close both scored after the 88th-minute to seal the final spot.

Rossendale's win against Charnock Richard Reserves was similarly tight, with Tom Hulme's being the only conversion of a tight contest.
