Wrens roar back to win Stewart Rowe Memorial Cup

Blackpool Wren Rovers Reserves twice recovered from going a goal down to win a titanic tussle in the Stewart Rowe Memorial Cup Final.

Opponents Hurst Green Reserves took an early lead through Keegan Dobson only for Wren's Steve McEwan to level matters on 15 minutes.

Gary Knight restored the advantage for Hurst Green just before the half-hour mark, a lead they held at half-time.

Archie Addison made it 2-2 six minutes after the break before a McEwan penalty swung the pendulum in Wren's favour on 68 minutes.

Luke Smith then made it 4-2 on 73 minutes to seal Wren's first win in this tournament since 2015-16.
