Turton looking up as Foster treble sinks Dalton

Turton earned their second home win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Coppull United as August’s busy calendar came to a close, with pictures from Euxton Villa Reserves v Charnock Richard Reserves by STEVE TAYLOR.

Sam Rigby and Jack Coop struck in the first half for Craig Allardyce’s men and despite Cameron Murphy pulling a goal back, the home side kept them at bay for three points which lifts them to ninth in the Premier Division.

In Division One, Alex Santos struck the decisive goal in Lostock St Gerards narrow win at Croston Sports.

Ash Ball was the last-gasp hero for Euxton Villa Reserves in a 1-0 derby win over Charnock Richard Reserves.

And Farrell Foster struck a hat-trick in Holker Old Boys Reserves 6-1 romp over Dalton United.

Max Dixon and Tyler Spence put them two to the good while Foster made it three by half time.

Foster completed his hat-trick by the 80th minute and Joe McGladdery added a sixth. Jordan Chubb added a consolation for the visitors.

Burnley United saw off Astley and Buckshaw thanks to Joe Rodriguez's effort in the 65th minute.
