Repeat of final as Richardson Cup holders face tough tie

Tempest United will have to get past last season's beaten finalists Coppull United if they want to retain this year's Miller Roskell Limited Richardson Cup.

The Bolton side will host Mark Hine's men after the draw for the second round was made.

They beat Coppull 5-0 in last season's final at the LFA County Ground.

Premier Division clubs will join the competition at the second-round stage after a shake-up of the league's cup competitions.

Elsewhere, there's three all Premier division ties - Fulwood Amateurs host Poulton, Turton must travel to Thornton Cleveleys and Wyre Villa head north to face in-form Whitehaven.

There's also a potential east Lancs derby between Rossendale and Haslingden if the latter can get past Croston in a tie yet to be played.

All second-round matches will take place on November 19 or 26.
