By Andy Sykes

Lostock St Gerards and Euxton Villa are the early pacesetters in Division 1 after both secured midweek wins.

Lostock scored late in each half to see off CMB 2-0 while Zach Wilkes bagged two for Euxton in a 4-2 win at Burscough Richmond.

Tony Williams scored twice from the spot for Hurst Green who won 4-2 at Croston Sports while Fulwood came from two down to earn a point at Thornton Cleveleys.

Poulton won by the odd goal in three in the derby with Blackpool Wren Rovers and Turton and Horwich St Mary’s bagged the Bolton bragging rights with wins over local rivals Stoneclough and Tempest respectively.

In Division Two, Coppull and Fulwood Amateurs A lead the way with two wins from two matches.

The former beat Haslingden St Mary’s 2-1 while a late winner from Noah Hindley was enough to secure the three points by the same scoreline against Thornton Cleveleys A.

Tom Eastham was a hat-trick hero for Lytham Town in their 3-2 win over Storeys while Rossendale crushed Chipping 8-0.

Milnthorpe enjoyed a win over Galgate while Wyre Villa conquered Carnforth Rangers, both matches finishing 3-1.
