Managerial changes as season draws to a close

There has been a raft of managerial changes in the West Lancashire League as the curtain came down on the 2023/24 season.

Phil Blackwell (pictured above second from right) is the new man at the helm at Fulwood Amateurs first team after Tony Hesketh moved to a general manager role at Lightfoot Lane.

John Crossland is also standing down at Tempest United to be replaced by right-hand man Ross McNair.

Stuart Shaw has also left Cleator Moor Celtic while Richard Close has called time on being the boss at Kendal United with Jamie Pattison taking over.

And next door, Graham Sill has relinquished the hotseat at Kendal County.

Chipping's Chris Cookson and Liam Zolotarczuk have also departed with their replacements to be announced in due course.
