LFA Amateur Shield Round 1 draw revealed

LFA Amateur Shield holders Hesketh Bank will renew battle with Rossendale as they look to retain their trophy.

Bank beat Blackpool Wren Rovers in the final in May. They face old foes Rossendale in the first round after a ding dong battle for promotion from Division One last season.

West Lancashire League clubs have dominated the competition with only two sides from outside our league - Gregorians and FC St Helens - being triumphant in the last 25 years.
