Six of the best for 'perfect' teams

Six clubs in the top three divisions have started the season in perfect fashion with three straight wins.

In the Premier Division, Poulton lead the way after an impressive 7-0 win at CMB, Toby Scammell and Freddy Livesey grabbing a double each.

Tempest United have three wins from three – and are yet to concede a goal – after a 3-0 defeat of Kendal County.

And Danny Fletcher was on the scoresheet twice as Blackpool Wren Rovers edged a seven-goal thriller in a 4-3 win at Lostock St Gerards.

The top four played each other in Division One – so at least two perfect records were set to be broken.

Fulwood Amateurs Res came out on top against Carnforth Rangers 3-0 – all the goals coming in the first half - while Chipping inflicted Whitehaven’s first defeat of the season in a 5-2 victory.

And Trawden Celtic’s scintillating start to life in the West Lancs League continued with a 4-0 victory over Garstang Res in Division Two – Teal Amos and Reece Miller on the scoresheet for the third game running.

In Reserve Division One, five teams have won two from two, last year’s champions Blackpool Wren Rovers Res yet to concede a goal.
