Eagley wrap up title while CMB stay in hunt

Eagley Reserves' saunter to the Reserve Division Two title is complete after they sealed the deal with a 16th win of a top season, with pictures of Blackpool Wren Rovers v Slyne by IAN MOORE.

Jordan Hibbert and Akbar Khosbab grabbed the all-important goals for Eagley in their 2-1 win over Haslingden Reserves, who scored through Bradley White.

Lostock St Gerards were awarded their Reserve Division One title trophy on Tuesday night too and they marked it in style, smashing eight past Croston Sports Reserves.

Adam Whittaker got the ball rolling only for Jordan Freeman to level matters for already relegated Sports.

Alex Howarth and a quickfire double by James Morley put Gerards in control at the break.

Joe Ball grabbed a second-half hat-trick and Kian Clarkson also got on the scoresheet. Harvey Parker was Croston's other scorer.

In the Premier Division, CMB survived a scare to maintain their 100% home record and keep the pressure on leaders Burscough Richmond.

Jonty McDonald put Fulwood Amateurs ahead in Bolton but a Dan Crook penalty and a sublime volley by Dylan Winstanley sealed three valuable points for CMB.

Jacob Aspinall got the only goal in Blackpool Wren Rovers' 1-0 over Slyne for the home side's sixth straight win.

And in Division One, Ulverston Rangers eased to a 3-0 win over Hawcoat Park with all the goals coming in the first half through a Ben Wheeler double and a Chris Wraighte strike.
