Turton extended their lead at the top

Turton extended their lead at the top with an emphatic triumph at Poulton.
Luke Bradbury opened the scoring after 28 minutes with Keiron Sisson adding a second four minutes later.
In the second half Bradbury added a third and his second on 61 minutes and then converted a penalty on 65 to give Turton a welcome 4-0 win.
Second placed Burscough Richmond fell further behind losing 3-2 at home to 10th in the table Hurst Green. Chris Scott opened the scoring for the Preston side after 3 minutes but goals from Chris Jones and Scott Taylor gave Richmond a 2-1 lead only for Tom Bartlett to pop up with an equaliser on 32 minutes. 2-2 at half time.
In the 80th minute Jake Craven kept his cool to help give the away side all 3 points by converting in the 80th minute.
Haslingden St Mary’s continued their good form of late with a hard earned home victory over GSK Ulverston Rangers. Craig Watts scored the games only goal in the 8th minute.
Dalton United’s poor away form continued to let them down. This time out they lost to a decent Tempest side at Chew Moor. Phil Howard scored in the 70th and 75th minutes to make it a long trip home for the Barrow side.
Lytham Town got 3 welcome points in their game at home to Hawcoat Park in what turned out to be a relatively easy looking 3-0 victory. Rob Newman opened the scoring on 13 minutes with Danny Scarlett adding a second just before half time. The nerves were settled when Ryan Ayrton scored in the 84th minute.
Wyre Villa managed another decent result (2-1) this time at home to next to bottom Askham United. Ryan Brown’s (17) first half goal was cancelled out in the second half with strikes from Jack Ashworth (52) and Peter Nicholson (59).
