60 Years of Preston Amateur Football

A Golden Football gathering 1965 - 2015.

Calling all Football ‘Silver Foxes’ for a celebration of 50 years of Preston Amateur Football to commemorate the Catholic Junior [U18} Cup, played at Deepdale May 1965 between English Martyrs Juniors and St Joseph’s Juniors ‘B’.

On Friday 9th October 2015 starting at 6.00pm

At 8.00pm the England v Estonia European Qualifier will be televised. At half time Hotpot will be served. A token of £5.00 will be charged for the evening, including supper.

This one off occasion is open to all footballers, administrators and match officials from the 1960’s era from the amateur leagues of Preston.

Please bring along any memorabilia [medals, photographs and news cuttings] of their teams success or disappointment, to amaze the gathering masses.

All Proceeds will be donated to St Catherine’s Hospice.

Former players from many of the Preston teams have shown interest in attending.
