Wrens Lift Trophy for 5th Consecutive Year.

Blackpool Wren Rovers retained the Wilf Carr Memorial Trophy for the 5th consecutive year, beating Garstang 4-1 at Bruce Park.

Danny Morris opened the scoring for Wrens on 15 minutes but in spite of most of the pressure found themselves level at half time following Andy Taylor equalising on 39 minutes.

Wrens were reduced to ten men with half an hour to go but goals by Joe Booth, on 64 minutes, a second from Danny Morris on 71 minutes and the fourth goal on 83 minutes by Danny Pickering gave them a comfortable victory.

League Vice Chairman Andy Hosker presented the Trophy to winning Captain Danny Morris.
