Lytham Town

By Chris Wight

Lytham Town FC are seeking committed volunteers to fill a wide variety of roles.

Lytham Juniors & Town FC are a true community club with players from the ages of 5 in the junior section through to 70+ in the walking football section. We are currently seeking volunteers for match days and non-match days for the senior section of the club which includes U18’s & u21’s teams and 3 open age sides playing Saturday afternoon football. Building a substantial base of volunteers is essential if we are to continue to deliver opportunities for the youth of Lytham and the surrounding area to continue playing beyond junior football and build a football club that is successful on and off the field.

We are especially looking for help with the positions below, but we would be happy to hear from anyone willing to help in any other area;

Bar Person – Match Day – Revenue generated from the bar on match days is vital to the running of the club and we are currently looking for someone to manage the bar for 2-3 hours on a Saturday afternoon during matches.

Pitch Preparation – Non-Match Day – Following the retirement of our long serving groundsman, we are looking for someone to prepare the pitch for match days. All necessary equipment is provided.

Fundraising – Non-Match Day – We don’t have a benefactor, so we are always look at new ways of generating income to keep the club going. This is a particularly interesting opportunity at present as we are currently raising money to build a new club house to serve the whole club from juniors through to walking football.

If you can spare a few hours a week and wish to contribute to the future success of Lytham Town FC then please contact us. Please state your name, contact details, availability and details any specific roles you are interested in.
