Doherty double maintains Euxton's perfect start - Reserves round-up

Ryan Doherty led the way with two goals as Euxton Villa maintained their perfect start to the season in Division One.

Ash Ball also got on the scoresheet at Villa won 3-1 at CMB.

Fulwood Reserves are hot on their heels thanks to a 2-1 win at Poulton with Hurst Green and Turton in hot pursuit after wins at Croston and Stoneclough respectively.

Billy Cartmell and Jordan Gregory both grabbed two goals each at Thornton Cleveleys enjoyed a 4-0 win at Tempest United while Burscough Richmond recovered from an early penalty to defeat Eagley 3-1.

Blackpool Wren Rovers saw off Horwich St Mary’s by the same scoreline.

In Division Two, Fulwood A and Coppull United kept their 100% records intact with wins over Milnthorpe and Wyre Villa.

Rossendale had a resounding 4-0 win at Carnforth and Rico Gavin banged in a first-half double in a 5-0 win for Haslingden St Mary’s at Thornton A.

A last minute penalty from Chris Pye earned Galgate a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Hesketh Bank and Chipping got off the mark with a 3-2 win at Storeys.
