Ball on the spot for Euxton - Reserves round-up

Division One leaders Euxton Villa were involved in a humdinger of a derby with Lostock St Gerards which saw both sides earn a share of the spoils.

Ash Ball scored twice late on for Villa in the 3-3 thriller, with Villa now leading the table by a point after four games.

Hurst Green are nicely poised in second thanks to a 3-1 win over Burscough Richmond, all the goals coming in the second half.

Billy Cartmel scored twice for Thornton Cleveleys who won 3-2 at Blackpool Wren Rovers and a Tom Craven goal on 16 minutes was enough for Croston Sports to prevail over Fulwood Amateurs.

Tempest United got their first home win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Turton and CMB came from behind to win 2-1 at Horwich St Mary’s.

And a double from Joe Johnson inspired Stoneclough to a 4-1 win at Eagley, their first points of the season.

In Division Two, second placed Fulwood Amateurs A didn’t take advantage of Coppull’s blank date, going down 2-1 at Hesketh Bank.

Jacob Taylor scored twice in Milnthorpe Corinthians 6-0 rout of Storeys and Wyre Villa earned a 2-1 win at Lytham Town.

Anthony Taylor’s brace propelled Chipping to a 3-1 victory over Carnforth Rangers while Joe Hulme also bagged a pair for Thornton Cleveleys A who came from behind for a 2-1 win at Galgate.

And Oliver Williams’ last gasp goal was enough for Rossendale to snatch a point at home to Haslingden St Mary’s, who had led through Forlan Jakovleves.
